How to book your stay

Students, guests, visitors and alumni

If you're visiting The University of Manchester, you can stay at the Hyatt hotels for a preferential rate. You'll need to prove the reason for your booking - you can't get a preferential rate if you aren't a student, guest, visitor or alumni.

You can book your room on the Hyatt Regency website:

Select 'Book Now' in the top right of the page
When the booking window opens, select the dropdown 'Special Rate'
Choose 'Corporate Code' - use the code 138884.

Bookings are advance purchase only and subject to availability. You won't be able to change your booking once it's confirmed.

The University of Manchester (UoM) Staff

As a member of staff at AMBS or The University of Manchester, you can book a work-related or personal stay at the hotel.

For a work-related booking

You should book your room(s) using a University account code - these are for business funded or sponsored purposes only.

You can complete the form to book a work-related stay.

For a personal booking

Staff at The University of Manchester can also book the Hyatt Hotels for a personal stay.

To get the preferential rate, you must:

Book your room(s) using your UoM email address
Pay with your own card.

Bookings are advance purchase only and subject to availability.

If you book a personal stay, it isn't refundable by the university's expenses system. You won't be able to change your booking once confirmed. You shouldn't book a personal stay for guests or visitors.
