Friska, named the best ethical restaurant in the Observer Food Monthly Awards in 2014, is committed to its responsible way of doing business and has an ambition for driving positive change.
Griff and Ed’s environmental approach includes their stores being powered by 100% renewable energy and zero waste going to landfill. They have well-established partnerships with global charities who are supported through the sales of a number of Friska’s product lines. They also hand pick their suppliers, ensuring they share the same values around ethics, using only free range eggs and responsibly sourced poultry meat.
Come and join us as Griff talks about his trials and tribulations, proving that business can be both ethical and sustainable while being successful.
Entrepreneurs@Manchester, hosted by the Masood Enterprise Centre, invites the UK's leading entrepreneurs to The University of Manchester to share their insights and talk candidly about their highs, lows, and lessons learnt. These are real stories from those who have done it - from initial concept through to enterprise.
Thanks to our partner - A2E Industries - for sponsoring this event, students gain a valuable insight into the role of entrepreneurs in the world of business and the impact that they could have in the 21st century society.
