Exploring leadership approaches to implement ESG
ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) issues represents some of the most significant challenges facing businesses today and in the future.
However, there is substantial scepticism surrounding its framework and feasibility - along with serious concerns about the risks of overlooking its importance for company purpose and business models.
During this webinar, we'll be joined by Ismail Ertürk, Senior Lecturer in PMO Management and Organisation Studies at AMBS, where we will explore:
- The concerns and risks of ignoring ESG
- Leadership models for implementing ESG initiatives
- The need to embed social and environmental responsibilities into business strategies
- The shortcomings of prioritising shareholder value as a company's primary purpose
- Strategic ESG roadmaps based on insights from interdisciplinary research.
The webinar will be hosted on Microsoft Teams and facilitated by our Client Relations team. The team will provide an overview of AMBS's short businesses course portfolio - including Ismail's upcoming 4-day course, Leading ESG and Sustainability, which is taking place from 10-13 December 2024.
This webinar's content was initially part of our recent Executive Education Insight Series event. Following a successful turnout, we're excited to present it in a webinar format for those who couldn't join us live.
