Jill Rubery
Jill Rubery is Professor of Comparative Employment Systems and Executive Director of the Work and Equalities Institute at Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester and chair of the Work-Net INTERNATIONAL steering group.
Duncan Ivison
Professor Duncan Ivison, FAHA FRSN, is President and Vice- Chancellor of The University of Manchester. Prior to joining Manchester in 2024, he held a series of leadership roles at the University of Sydney including Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research) (2015–2022).
Sangheon Lee
Sangheon Lee is director of the International Labour Organisation's Employment Department that leads the ILO's action for promoting full and productive employment by developing integrated employment, development and skills policies.

The Work and Equalities Institute (WEI)
The Work and Equalities Institute (WEI) is a university institute dedicated to addressing issues related to work, employment, and equality.
Founded in 2017, its legacy spans back over 30 years through the joining of two research centres, the European Work and Employment Research Centre (EWERC) and Fairwrc. The institute has 48 core members and 27 affiliated members from across the university.
The institute's research and engagement activities focus on four main themes:
- Work Futures
- Fairness and Wellbeing in the Workplace
- Equality Diversity and Inclusion
- Regulation and Representation.
