The winners of 2018 Venture Further competition have been announced at an awards ceremony at The University of Manchester. Eight teams of entrepreneurs have been awarded a share of a £50,000 cash prize fund to help take their start-ups to the next level.

The Pitch@Palace 9.0 Boot Camp took place on 13 March 2018 at The University of Manchester with the theme Data, Intelligence and The Future of Security. The initiative was founded by HRH The Duke of York in 2014 to support entrepreneurs through opportunities for mentorship, investment and connections to accelerate growth.

The Manchester Enterprise School is a four day residential enterprise activity taking place this year on the Southern Edge of the Lake District at the Grange Hotel in Grange-over-Sands from Monday 2nd to Thursday 5th July 2018 for 30 postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers.

The winners of the 2017 Venture Out ideas competition were announced at an awards ceremony on Tuesday 5 December. The competition is open to students from across the University and is run by Manchester Enterprise Centre, the focal point for student enterprise at The University of Manchester.
