Opportunity for 30 researchers to develop their innovative thinking and enhance their understanding of the commercialisation process.

Manchester teams pitched their ideas amongst entrepreneurs from other universities for a place on a new online accelerator programme designed for students and graduates across the UK with socially responsible enterprises. The four-month social sciences accelerator aims to support and scale socially responsible ventures.

This year’s Aspect Annual Event taking place across September and October, will run as a series of webinars covering a broad range of topical and important areas.

20 curious and enthusiastic students enrolled on the entrepreneurship programme that took place throughout July. University of Manchester students from all around the world were able to participate in this co-curricular activity that introduced the concept of enterprise and entrepreneurship whilst addressing urgent social issues in Manchester.

The SUCCESS programme is a first-of-its-kind opportunity designed to help social scientists with innovative and marketable research ideas to get the training, support and funding to transform those ideas into a business or social enterprise.
