Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) is proudly celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
Since its establishment in 1965, AMBS has become a beacon of innovation, academic excellence, and impactful research in business and management education. We've shaped leaders, ideas and global industries for six decades.
Anniversary celebrations
To honour this milestone, AMBS has planned a series of events that reflect its legacy and shine a light on innovation and vision for the future. Some of the activities taking place throughout 2025 include:
- Vital Topics Global: We're taking our prestigious lecture series to our international centres in Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai.
- Festival of Business: This week-long festival will bring together leaders, thinkers and visionaries to discuss the present and future of business and enterprise.
- Annual Grigor McClelland lecture: Our annual lecture the interaction between business, education and social responsibility is back for a 60th special in March.
