AMBS has been awarded AMBA Accreditation for five years after a successful assessment visit earlier this year.
The accreditation builds on over 15 years of AMBA accreditation and is part of the School’s triple accreditation.
AMBS was first accredited by AMBA in 1996 and holds AACSB (since 2001) and EQUIS (since 2002) accreditation. During their visit, the AMBA accreditation panel noted the strong recruitment to the Full-Time and Global MBA programmes at AMBS and the commitment to continuous improvement across the school.
During the assessment, the panel also recognised that Full-time and Global MBA candidates mixed across electives help to boost networking and shared learning experiences. Further recognition was made in terms of the quality and calibre of the academic and operational team and the excellent physical building space (AMBS was fully refurbished in 2019).
Professor Ken McPhail, Head of AMBS, said: “We are delighted to continue to be accredited by AMBA. We strive to deliver the best possible MBA experience in terms of depth of knowledge, experience through our three consultancy projects, and collaboration between all our MBA candidates. This Manchester Experience is recognised and admired by those who invest in their MBAs with the School.
We are committed to continuous improvement and strengthening our partnerships in the UK and internationally. Together, we review our programmes to ensure they remain of the highest quality and relevant to an ever-changing world."
