Launching client facing projects
Our MSc Business Analysis and Strategic Management programme at Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) celebrated a significant milestone recently - the launch of our student client facing projects.
This exciting event marked the culmination of the students' hard work and dedication during the first part of their programme. Through an engaging 'Blocks and Cubes' activity, they had the opportunity to showcase their honed team-building, communication, and problem-solving skills - all essential prerequisites for the next stage: tackling real-world client projects.
A collaborative learning experience
The 'Blocks and Cubes' activity is more than just a fun team-building exercise. It's designed to simulate the collaborative environment students will encounter when working with clients on strategic business challenges. This practical experience provides them with a valuable opportunity to refine their communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills in a safe and supportive setting.
Industry expertise for enhanced learning
The launch event was further enriched by the presence of Neil Jones, Director at Sarn Group Limited. Neil generously shared his invaluable experiences from over a decade of working with AMBS students on client projects.
Mr Jones said: "It's an honour and a privilege to play a part in the MSc Business Analysis and Strategic Management programme at Alliance Manchester Business School.
"The program's world-class reputation for delivering outstanding courses and fostering student success attracts a diverse and talented cohorts from around the globe."
