We understand that our applicants and offer-holders will have concerns about the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. We are following the advice from Universities UK, Public Health England and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, ensuring the welfare of our students and staff is our absolute priority. We have taken the action to temporarily move our teaching online and to close all non-essential areas of our campus.
We have cancelled on-campus events for prospective students and applicants for now, however, keep your eye out on our events page for upcoming webinars.
All staff are working from home and you can still contact them for any queries or information about our teaching, programmes or events.
Undergraduate
For undergraduate programmes, following announcements by the Department for Education regarding A-levels and the IB, the admissions timetable will run similarly to previous years and all students will be awarded a grade for any exam they were entered for. We will consider your needs when addressing any issues with your application and be as flexible as possible.

Master’s and Postgraduate Research
We are following government advice and working closely with all government agencies to ensure admissions timelines are similar to previous years. If you are from outside the UK, we are aware that education systems around the world have been disrupted by the current pandemic, so if you have any concerns regarding your application, please get in touch.
We expect the September intakes for our Master’s and PhD programmes to go ahead as planned.
MBA
Global MBA
We expect our July 2020 intake of the Manchester Global MBA to go ahead as planned.
Applications are still being accepted for our July intake with Admissions Committees now taking place virtually. Those who are offered places for the July intake will also have the opportunity to defer their studies to January 2021 at no additional cost if they choose to not start their MBA studies in July.
Full-time MBA
We currently expect the August 2020 intake of the Manchester Full-time MBA to go ahead as planned.
Applications are still being accepted for our Full-time MBA with Admissions Committees now taking place virtually.
The pandemic is also having an impact on those wanting to take their GMAT tests and who are now unable to sit their tests. With almost 100 years of combined experience in our Admissions Committee we are adept at analysing MBA applications, taking not just the GMAT exam into account.
We have one of the most practical, hands-on MBAs in the world and we recruit MBA students who already have excellent professional experience and we may be able to explore alternatives to GMAT, including our internal Manchester Admissions Test.
For any questions with regards to your application or potential application for the Global or Full Time MBA please do not hesitate to contact our experienced MBA Marketing & Recruitment Team who will be able to answer your questions on the phone or via email.
