Amin Amiri, Managing Director of a2e Venture Capitalists and sponsor of Manchester Business School’s event series – Entrepreneurs@Manchester, gives his opinion on entrepreneurship in the 21st century ahead of the next event set to take place in October.
Amin discusses the role that entrepreneurs play in the economy – creating 80% of new jobs in developed countries and 60% economic growth. He also offers his perspective on how the government can encourage entrepreneurship by ensuring that more potential start-ups have access to information about funding and he considers how big of an influence role models have in inspiring a nation of start-ups.
