MBA student shortlisted for AMBA Excellence Award

We are pleased to announce that Nkem Igwe from our Full-time MBA Class of 2023 has been nominated for an AMBA Excellence Award.

The AMBA Excellence Awards celebrate the quality and achievements of post graduate business education at the forefront of leadership excellence, recognising the talents and contributions made by AMBA-accredited Business Schools, their students and graduates.

The winner will be announced in December at their gala dinner in London.

Nkem said, β€œI am very humbled to have been considered for such an award. I count myself privileged to be ranked among other very high achievers. This environment encourages me to do more and be more. I hope I have been an inspiration for young mothers like myself who aspire to build a career and make an impact while raising children. I thank my school for their guidance and mentorship throughout the programme and my time in Manchester.”

Naomi Blackwell, MBA Assistant Director also commented, β€œon behalf of the MBA staff team, we could not be happier to see Nkem shortlisted for this award. Her nomination and place as a finalist is testament to her proactive, positive and hard-working nature. She has thrown herself into various additional responsibilities and activities, alongside a demanding MBA programme, and she should be proud of all that she has accomplished so far. AMBA is a prestigious organisation and we are thrilled to be participating in these inspiring awards.”
