Our latest issue features interviews and commentaries from academics across the school on subjects ranging from fintech, automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI), through to corporate governance, PFI and wellbeing.
We have a particular focus on fintech which is an area of growing activity across the wider University. Professor Andrew James talks about the role of Alliance MBS within the initiative, while Professor Ser-Huang Poon talks in-depth about how blockchain technology will revolutionise business and society.
Luke Georghiou, Deputy President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor of The University, also writes a nostalgic commentary on the Alvey programme which created an innovation ecosystem for AI today.
We also feature an interview with Professor Damian Hodgson, the new head of the Health Services Research Centre, and with Professor Naomi Chambers who talks about hospital leadership in the wake of the Francis Inquiry.
