We are delighted to announce that Sunita Mirchandani and Jim Sadler have been appointed to the Alliance Manchester Business School Advisory Board.
Sunita Mirchandani has a strong legacy of fostering strategic collaboration between UK and UAE educational entities. She facilitated many successful partnerships contributing to the growth of the UK education sector in the United Arab Emirates at the British Embassy in Dubai.
Jim Sadler is currently the Chief Product, Technology and Operations Officer at AutoRek, a UK fintech, leading all aspects of the company's product, technology and customer strategy.
On the appointment, Sunita comments:

Career history
Sunita Mirchandani
Sunita has facilitated the establishment of several UK universities in the UAE including The University of Manchester Middle East Centre, as well as UK schools in the region. She has played a crucial role in facilitating agreements between the UAE Ministry of Education, including with the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), the National Academic Recognition Information Centres in the European Union (NARIC) and the National Association for Special Educational Needs (NASEN).
With a keen interest in AI opportunities, she has also supported edtech and AI in education companies to penetrate the UAE market.
Jim Sadler
Much of Jim's early career was served at Aviva plc where he led many of the major transformation events that created Aviva as we know it today. After serving as CIO, he decided to pursue a career focused on technology businesses within the sector.
He joined Xchanging PLC and, as Group CIO, drove the technology transformation of the business globally that resulted in a sale to CSC (now DXC Technology).
After Xchanging, he spent four years as COO and Board Director at SSP Ltd and two years as CEO and Board director of Finova Ltd, a banking software provider. He lead the business through four mergers and a doubling of revenues, workforce and profits - all during the main period of the COVID pandemic.
Advisory Board
The AMBS Advisory Board, which is chaired by Kenneth Lever, advises the School's leadership team on the development of the School's strategy. It supports with the development of corporate, institutional and governmental links and offers an external perspective on the School's products and services.
