Sir Cary Cooper, 50th Anniversary Professor of Organisational Psychology and Health, recently revealed his five-point plan for turning your home into your office in a blog he wrote for Savills, the global real estate group.
In his article Sir Cary talks about how if you are to work from home successfully then you need to make changes in order to juggle the various different demands on your time. As well as discussing the need to find a suitable space to work, he also writes about the importance of family plans and structures, of maintaining social contacts, and of not over-working for fear that your home can begin to feel like a prison.
