I graduated from University of Lagos for my first degree in Adult Education, and I also have a Master’s in Business Administration. I am now a qualified Chartered Accountant and have worked in a number of progressively responsible finance roles for 9+ years at leading companies, including roles in financial analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
I am currently a Finance Manager at PHD Nigeria Limited leading a team of financial experts, overseeing budget development, strategic financial planning, risk assessment, and financial reporting. I also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost-efficiency initiatives and optimise financial performance.
The focus on Strategy & Innovation and Project Management were key elements that I learnt a lot about throughout the course. Learning more in depth about these topics has been so impactful and helpful for my daily strategic operations since returning back to my organisation.
I really enjoyed conducting a self-appraisal through the Hogan test and the group discussions and interactions were highly valuable for me. It was a great opportunity to learn from professional minded people from a range of different backgrounds and industries.
Ultimately, the course content, environment, and the prestige of Alliance Manchester Business School played a part in influencing my decision.
The key impact I think this programme will have on my organisation, is that it will help me focus more on improving productivity and efficient team and relationship management within the workspace. These are very important elements which I believe ensures strong organisational performance.
