How long does a Masters degree take to complete?
A Masters degree at Alliance Manchester Business School is studied over 12 months from September to August. The taught element of most of our Masters degrees is from September to May and you will complete a dissertation or project from May to August.

A Masters degree is a postgraduate academic qualification taken by students who have usually completed an undergraduate bachelor’s degree.
What are Masters degree grades?
When you complete a Masters degree at Alliance Manchester Business School you will be awarded with one of the following grades:
70% and above |
Distinction - A very good, well above average performance |
60% |
Merit - A good, sound performance |
50% |
Pass - An adequate performance |
Below 50% |
Fail |
How to get a Masters degree?
To register for a Masters Degree at Alliance Manchester Business School you must have completed an undergraduate bachelor's degree and satisfied all other entry requirements relating to previous study and English language ability. To be awarded a Masters degree you must satisfactorily complete the required programme of study with an overall grade of 50% or above.

How many credits for a Masters degree?
