Undergraduate tuition fees and scholarships

Undergraduate tuition fees
UK students
Tuition fees for home students commencing their studies in September 2025 will be £9,250 per annum and fixed for the course duration.
UK students from households with incomes of up to £35,000 are also eligible to receive a cash award for this additional year, as follows:

You'll get a significant fee discount if your course includes a work placement or study abroad. Home students currently pay £1,850 for a full year work placement and £1,350 for a full year studying abroad (or a full year Erasmus work placement).

International students
Tuition fees for international students starting in September 2025 will be £31,500 per annum and fixed for the course duration. The BSc Information Technology for Business Management course will have a tuition fee of £33,500 per annum and will be fixed for the course duration.
International students also get a fee discount if your course includes a work placement or study abroad. You'll pay 20% of the standard international fee for the work placement or study abroad year.
Scholarships and bursaries

In addition to these awards, we will award the following scholarships and bursaries to incoming Alliance Manchester Business School students starting their studies in September 2024:
Social Responsibility Scholarships
The deadline for all applications is 12 September 2025.
UK students
We'll award five undergraduate social responsibility scholarships to UK students.
International students
We'll award three undergraduate social responsibility scholarships to international/EU students in 2025. One of our international scholarships will be awarded to a student who has successfully completed an international foundation year at an INTO, NCUK or other approved foundation year provider prior to starting their studies at Alliance MBS in September 2025.
Eligibility criteria
We'll award scholarships to UK and international/EU students achieving AAA at A-level (or equivalent qualification) who are able to demonstrate a significant contribution and commitment to social responsibility. Successful applicants will be identified via both:
- academic performance and;
- a written application.
Applicants who exceed AAA and/or have supplementary qualifications (such as EPQ) will receive additional consideration. Your written application should consist of two parts with about 1,000 words for each part.
In the first part, please outline your previous personal social responsibility (SR) involvement in, for example, community-based projects, volunteering opportunities and/or fundraising activities, and explain how they are linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In the second part, please explain how you could further develop yourself and help develop other students in the school and university to become socially responsible graduates (please also include your understanding of the key attributes of “socially responsible graduates”).
The winners of this prestigious scholarship will be assigned a mentor from the AMBS SR committee to help with their SR initiatives, involvement and development during their undergraduate studies at AMBS. They will be encouraged to become an AMBS SR Student Champion, and will be invited to meet the full SR committee once a year.

International Stellar Scholarships
The deadline for applications is 12 September 2025. You can apply as soon as you have received your final results.
We will award two international stellar scholarships to talented international students in 2024. These awards are worth £2,000 per year across three years of study (students will not receive the scholarship while on placement or exchange). Students on the PwC Flying Start Business Accounting degree will be awarded £1,500 in each of the 4 years of their study.
Eligibility criteria: International students (classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes) who are residents of Singapore, Malaysia or Norway and achieve AAA at A-level (or equivalent qualification). Successful applicants will be identified via both:
- academic performance and;
- a written application (maximum 400 words)
Applicants who exceed AAA and/or have supplementary qualifications (such as EPQ) will receive additional consideration.
Your written application should outline your commitment to academic studies and extra-curricular pursuits. Our Director of Undergraduate Studies will award the scholarships after assessing all eligible statements.

BSc (Hons) Business Accounting Scholarship
Upon passing their first year of this prestigious programme, all students will be awarded a scholarship in years 2, 3 and 4. This scholarship is worth £7,450 in total (students will receive £2,483 per year). UK/EU and international students will be awarded the same scholarship amount.
BSc (Hons) Business Accounting Bursary
If you meet the eligibility criteria and join the BSc (Hons) Business Accounting 'Flying Start' programme in autumn 2024, a £10,000 bursary will be awarded to you, split across the four years of the degree.
